OBRA should work for everyone who uses it: dispatchers at a desk, drivers on a phone in the sun, and customers checking on a delivery.
1. Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the OBRA web app, the phone app and tracking links.
2. What we do
- Every screen works in English and Spanish.
- Form fields have labels, errors are written out in words, and the app can be used with a keyboard.
- Text and buttons are sized for phones, with strong contrast for use outdoors.
- Pages use standard headings and landmarks so screen readers can follow them.
- Maps are never the only way to get information: addresses, stages and arrival times are also written out.
- Our video tours have captions.
3. Known limitations
- Maps and route views can't be fully used with a screen reader; the same information is written out on the page.
- Delivery receipts saved as PDF may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
- OBRA hasn't yet had an independent accessibility audit. We test as we build and fix problems as we find them.
4. Need help or found a problem?
Email support@viaobra.com with the page and what went wrong. We'll reply within two business days, and we can send you any information you need in another form, such as a delivery record by email.
